Sample Society is a $15 monthly subscription box featuring beauty favorites from Allure Magazine. I have been a subscriber and fan of this box since August because it mainly focuses on skincare and luxury beauty samples. I always have high expectations with this $15 box and this month did not disappoint!
The January box featured three skincare products, a deep conditioner, nail polish, and a eye shadow/liner duo.
A closer look and details:
Samples:
StriVectin Intensive Illuminating Serum- claims to even skin tone and diminish age spots
Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar- an anti-aging moisturizer with hyaluronic acid
Zoya Nail Polish (Full Size!) – colors vary between five different pastels and I received the mint green color Tiana
Philip B. Light- Weight Deep Conditioning Creme Rinse- claims to increase hair elasticity and strength
Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar- a charcoal and mud facial bar soap
Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid+Lash (Full Size!)- this eye duo comes with a cream shadow on one end and a glitter liner on the other, this comes in three shades and I received Peach Prism
Overall, I’m pretty happy with my box! I am normally not a fan of receiving a drugstore product in a higher end subscription, but the value of the skincare products make this box worth the cost. I actually have already tried out the PhotoReady Eye Art and I was pleasantly surprised with how pigmented and long wearing the cream shadow applied. I’m also a big fan of the formula of Zoya nail polishes they are very opaque so you only really need one coat. This months Sample Society box was definitely a success!
